Collection comprises a photograph album likely maintained by an African American soldier serving in Vietnam. There are 268 uncaptioned black-and-white and 2 color photographs ranging in size from 2.75"x3.5" to 5"x3.5", along with 15 postcards. Images primarily feature off-duty African American servicemen in camp as well as street and village scenes. The front cover of the album is detached. Acquired as part of the John Hope Franklin Research Center for African and African American History and Culture.
